Summer is an opportunity to express many things for different people. The peak of life, abundance, harvest, light, truth, joy, and freedom all come together. For many Americans it can look like the end of a school year, summer vacation, barbecues, the opening of the pool, and more prep work for the fall season. Preparing to have a successful summer that is full of joy and good memories is the typical goal or objective for many. Here we lay out a few things that anyone can do if they have not set expectations and standards for themselves this summer.

- Write down three core goals for the summer months. SMART goals can be helpful with short-term thinking. Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic/relevant, and time- bound.
- Adopt summer hours. Most people will have access to more sunlight. Use it.
- Eliminate low-value meetings. They are a drain. The fall will thank you.
- Eat clean and hydrate more.
- Learn something new and interesting. More hobbies equal less opinions.
Do one of these and you will sleep better. Do all five of these things and you could start a fundamental life change. If you need help organizing this in your life, work, or just need a new outlook, reach out to the H-hour.
